First Ever Pidyon Ha’Ben at Margaret Tietz!
Margaret Tietz Nursing & Rehabilitation Center recently hosted a very special event Sunday Evening, June 10th. The Pidyon Ha’Ben of Mishe Litwak took place in the first floor Recreation Room – a fitting backdrop to this beautiful occasion, as the facility was an integral part of the new parents’ shidduch.
Ari and Julie (nee Strauss) Litwak were brought together a year ago by Margaret Tietz’s very own Rabbi Pearlman, who made the acquaintance of Julie’s maternal grandfather – Mr. Erwin Wald, during his successful rehab stay at Margaret Tietz. Rabbi Pearlman got to know Ari well when the young man served as the facility's Shabbos Mashgiach for about a year, and was highly impressed with him. Armed with the knowledge that Mr. Wald had a lovely eligible granddaughter – the good Rabbi “redt” the shidduch. The rest as they say is history!
Great-grandfather Erwin Wald was in his element as three generations of his progeny came together to partake in the ceremony and seudah in the embracing warmth that is synonymous with Margaret Tietz!
