Rabbi Pearlman lead the daily lighting of the Menorah from December 16 to December 23, 2014. Many residents were in attendance as they sang the blessings and Ma’oz Tzur.

Children led by Bernie Schindler from Congregation Etz Chaim came to entertain our residents on December 22, 2014. They sang Chanukah songs and had donuts after their performance.

Girls from the Yeshiva University High School for Girls came to entertain our residents on December 15, 2014.

Children from Sha’arei Zion came to entertain our residents on December 15, 2014. They sang Chanukah songs and ate cookies and donuts.

October 7th yeshiva girls from Central are coming to Margaret Tietz to decorate or Sukkah in preparation for the holiday.

Rabbi Bentzion Shafier will be speaking on October 2nd at Young Israel of Forest Hills. Margaret Tietz will sponsoring the event.
