Joining the Young Israel of Jamaica Estates, the Margaret Tietz Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a member of the Beth Abraham Family of Health Services, was a proud sponsor and participant at the10th Annual Queens/Long Island L'Chaim 5K Run/Walk for Israel to benefit medical, security and welfare needs in Israel. This year's event on Sunday May 29th featured a live Concert with Mo Kiss, a Health & Fitness Fair including free screenings, a Vendor Fair and a free Ice Cream Festival sponsored by Max and Mina's. The balmy spring weather generated a fabulous turnout of all ages. Five residents and about fifteen staff members from Margaret Tietz Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, as well as their families, participated in the Run/Walk.
