On Thursday evening, June 11, 2015, an ice cream party was held for the children and residents who participate in a special intergenerational program at Margaret Tietz. This event which is held annually was attended by the students, their families, the school Principal, Teachers, and our residents with some of their family members. The school provided a delicious cake and we supplied all the fixings for great ice-cream sundaes. Some of the students provided insight as to what this program means to them as each received a certificate. The Margaret Tietz Center extends a special thank you to P.S. 200 administration for selecting Margaret Tietz for this on-going program which is so enjoyed by both generations. A special thank you is also extended to the parents for allowing their children to be a part of the Margaret Tietz family. Everyone had a wonderful time.
